My passion for photography spans many years

My first memories of the magic of photography was as a boy watching my father develop his back and white photographs in a make shift dark room.

After leaving school in the mid 1960’s I worked in a local photographic laboratory specializing in taking colour photographs of the various industrial processes in and around Birmingham.

I later moved into the National Health Service and then into the emerging IT industry, all of which allowed me to continue with my fascination and love of photography. In the late 1990's I decided to make a career change and to concentrate on my photography full time.

With the significant advances that have been made in digital camera technology it became clear to me that it could now be possible to maintain the same high quality of film based photographs, whilst offering customers a faster service at considerably lower prices on their finished photographs. In 2002 I decided to move away from using film based SLR cameras, to the use of high end professional quality digital SLR cameras. All of my work is now produced exclusively with Nikon D2x Professional SLR digital cameras.

Although I major on equestrian subjects, I have developed interests in other areas as well. However my aims remain the same what ever subject I am photographing.

These are:

· to produce photographs of the highest quality

· at the most competitive price

· capturing both the spirit and the natural beauty of the chosen subject.
