Peter's first memories of the magic of photography was as a boy watching his father develop his back and white photographs in a make shift dark room.

After leaving school  Peter worked in a local photographic laboratory specializing in taking  photographs showing the various industrial processes in and around Birmingham.

In the late 1990's Peter decided to make a career change and to concentrate on his photography full time.

With the significant advances that had been made in digital camera technology it became clear to Peter that it could now be possible to maintain the same high quality of film based photographs, whilst offering customers a faster service at considerably lower prices on their finished photographs.

In 2002 Peter decided to move away from using film based SLR cameras, to the use of high end professional quality Nikon digital SLR cameras. All of the  work now produced by Peter Cox Photography is done so exclusively with  Nikon Professional SLR digital camera bodies and professional Nikkor lenses

Whatever subject Peter is  photographing. his goal always remains the same which is to:

• produce photographs of the highest quality possible.

• capture both the spirit and the natural beauty of the chosen subject.
